I remember my first Cabbage Patch Doll. Jullian Sydney was his name and oh how I loved him!! Well, this past week Mattie Sims got her first Cabbage Patch, Skye Lena. How good it is to know some things never change. Cabbage Patch still come with adoption papers, smell like baby powder, have terrible names, and little girls still love them!!
Mattie Sims' nickname is Sassy,on ocassion she has been referred to as a "ham." Never thought much about it, but starting to think it is an appropriate name.....
I use to gag when moms would you their bare hands to wipe salvia and spit up. I know do it myself without flinching. Sleep, I have learned, you can survive without. I have had to eat my words, how I look now plays second fiddle. I guess what I am trying to say is how much life can change by adding one sweet little blue eyed girl.
Mattie Sims is modeling a pair of Liberty overalls that were bought as a present for big brother Jake. I think he would like sharing with little sis.
Looks like she is ready to help her grandfathers feed those goats, cows, and of course Lucy Sue (the donkey).
This lil piggy is 7 months old!! I just can't believe. Everyday, I think it can't get better than this, but yet it does. We are loving every second of this "treat."
